About the Blog

TransportBlog is hosted by Greater Auckland, an Auckland based advocacy group.

The blog was first established in 2008 to provide commentary and encourage intelligent debate about transport and urban form issues, with a particular focus on Auckland. The blog has been operated by a number of bloggers over the years, with many guest posts coming from a variety of contributors. As our Twitter feed says our focus is on: ‘The Shape of our Cities’.

This blog is not associated in any way with Auckland Transport.
