I assume you mean exciting?
Four seasons in a day huh.
Why don’t we have variable speed-limit signs?
I’ve wondered that myself. Wellington has plenty of it and it’s pretty useful. I think putting it on the Harbour Bridge would do good. Especially when it gets really gusty.
The bridget does but only used for crashes as far as im aware.
the vriable signs are certainly used to warn of high winds on the bridge, but I’ve also seen lower speed limits when the barrier vehicle is on the bridge
I don’t see any advantage to variable speed limit signs. No one would follow them anyway. It is 80 through CMJ but everyone still does 100.
That’s because it use to be 100 and it worked fine. By using variable, we will know it is safe to do 100 when it is safe to do so but will slow down to 80 or 60 when it is dangerous. I would take more notice of variable signs than fixed signs.
