    Having seen his talk, I’d urge him to step back from hard edged clarity and embrace a little fuzziness.

    We’re not trying to maximise a singular variable. We’re trying to balance competing sets of desires and needs, all of which are important.

    I liked his clarity. I realise now that I didn’t make it clear that I wasn’t suggesting to combine two relatively new technologies to eliminate noise/fumes and operator costs now, but in 10-15 years when those technologies are proven and commonplace, but he made that clear with his response.
